(CBS/AP) Top White House aide Karl Rove has been told by prosecutors he won't be charged with any crimes in the investigation into leak of a CIA officer's identity, his lawyer said Tuesday, lifting a heavy burden from one of President Bush's most trusted advisers.

Attorney Robert Luskin said that special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald informed him of the decision on Monday, ending months of speculation about the fate of Rove, the architect of Mr. Bush's 2004 re-election now focused on stopping Democrats from capturing the House or Senate in this November's elections.

Shoot, if you’re a Lib it must really make you question our Justice System. You must think the system is totally screwed up. Just completely out of whack and irredeemable. With a stink to high heaven.
Hey, wait a sec. Isn’t that the very same Justice System the Left would rely on to prosecute the War on Terror? Doh!

The Court of Cassation, the tribunal of last resort in France, today upheld a March 2005 judgment that Soros violated the law when he bought Societe Generale SA shares in 1988 with knowledge that the bank might be a takeover target. The Hungary- born financier, who has been fighting the case for more than 17 years, will appeal to the European Court of Human Rights, his lawyer said.
